At this point I've pretty much gotten settled on the pedals I need for my various usual playing "tones". But buying new pedals is too much fun for me to stop adding to the board!
So what are some cheap (under $50 used) pedals out there that are fun to whip out just to get wild and weird?
I've already got chorus, phaser, & OD for covering the basics and bassballs, synth, and V-wah for some wackiness. |

you could try another chorus like the DOD stereo. you can get really interesting sounds and textures running two in series or parallel with different settings.

| | | | Yeah, the danos are great - one of the guitarists in my band swears by them, even though he could (and probably should!) nab more upmarket units... |

So are any of them capable of twisted far-out sounds? |
