This choice is going to tear me apart!

I'am after a good soliod delay pedal and originally i singled my choice to the Boss DD-20 giga delay. I've found one second had for $240, but just recently i started looking at a Akai Headrush E2 thats going for $299. Both units are used, which isnt a worry. Its the features and tone thats the big thing. Is it really worth spending the extra $50 on the Headrush? Also is there any threads that have a detailed comparison between the two. Do many users find use for the extra features of both, in my current band we do experiment a fair bit, and i use Delay for just about every song so that memory function on the DD-20 would be very nice.

The main feature of the headrush is that it's a kick arse looper. If you're heavily into experimentation I'd gice it a whirl. I'd also look into the new ehx memory man as suggested by mingus above-

Although if it's programmable you're interested in the line6 dm4 gives you a world of programmable madness- plus a looper.

Google ishi-bashi, you can get a brand new DD-20 shipped from this japanese site for the same price or less than the one you are looking at. I got mine there and i love it.

Thanks guys, i'll check out that EHX pedal. It looks like its got the looping capability of the Head rush with the features of the DD-20.

Edit: wow this Memory Man has kick *** features, plus i found an ebay store that will do free shipping to Australia, defently a big plus. I'll still check out those other 2 pedals though, thanks for giving more gas guys.
