So I'm considering buying a new wah pedal. I recently had a Morley PWO pedal but I didn't like it so I sold it. Now I have 3 wah pedals in mind and can't decide which to buy. I have searched and looked at several reviews on the forums and have come with this... Ibanez Weeping Demon:
It has an autowah and pedal option. Has vast tonal control and has a bass option. Although originally designed for guitar. It is a big pedal and takes up alot of room on the pedalboard. Dunlop Crybaby 105Q:
It is small, bright and reliable. Only has autowah but has an "auto-return" system. No tonal control but is smaller and can fit onto a smaller pedalboard. Digitech Whammy:
Unreliable (apparently) but has a high range. A bigger pedal but has some tonal control. Costs more than the other 2 pedals.
Any more reviews or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. |

| | | | I was thinking of getting a Morely as well, but I don't have the chance to try it out. Anyone have any specific thoughts about it?

Anyway, I'll throw my lot in with the Weeping Demon folks.

| | | | Uhhhm, anybody suggesting a 535Q, it's designated for guitar, I've tried to use my guitarist, doesn't work I dunno if it's just me but if you're planning to buy on eBay or something like that don't go 535Q. |

Secondly, Alot of the reviews I've seen on the forums seem to have a complaint that the pedal doesn't work well on bass (originally designed for guitar right?) and that it doesn't give a useable sound. |

My Q stays at max and my volume is about 75% engaged. Also the internal pot is easy access to adjust the cutoff time from when you step off the thing. And the sweep is very nice! my 2 cents.. |

I was really put off getting one by people saying they weren't good for bass, but then I found out Juan Alderete from Mars Volta uses 2, so I went for it and I don't regret it. |
