Chorus for all songs?

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm looking for a pedal that can sit very low in the mix and take up a lot of space, and a chorus looks like the perfect solution. I'll take suggestions off other pedals that can fill space in a band setting, so until further notice it's a Boss Bass Chorus. My price limit is around $100.

You can build up a bit of ambience and atmosphere / fill some space with some delay.

A chorus would be the most obvious though I guess. For $100 you might want to check out the Boss CE-5 or CEB-3

EDIT: Just noticed you already mentioned the Boss Bass Chorus (CEB-3). Id say your on the right track there.

Yeah, I also prefer the CE-5, but my time with a CEB-3 has been pretty limited. I know a lot of people round here seem to like the CEB-3 though. Try both if you get the chance.

Definitely try the CE-5 over the CEB-3...way more versatile and a much more pronounced effect. You have to crank the CEB-3 to get good results.

I don't want a overly chorus-ed sound. I want a sound that fills out, but isn't all warlbly, and unfocused. A subtle expansion would be best.

I found the CE-5 to be fairly subtle.

CE-5 fits the bill for sure it only gets warbly when u turn rate over 2 o'clock, its one of my most used pedals cause its subtle and it sounds so good

There are a ton of threads describing subtle vs. heavier chorus...you sound like you lean towards the more subtle side...If thats the case, try the CEB-3 (you can get a used one here in the classifieds for around $50)...
