Chorus modulation is pitch shifting signal - help

Sign in to disble this ad
i have an EBS unichorus set on the chorus setting, however as of recent the chorus is slightly fluctuating the pitch - which is quite annoying.

this has only happened recently when i bought a new pedal. i am running 4 pedals through 1 9v power adaptor. i suspect its because the pedal isnt getting enough power so its not working as it should - but i know nothing about that kind of stuff. all i know is that the power bank thing is 300mA.

anyone help ?

A chorus pedal should shift your pitch. That is how they work.

That's what chorus does, but I guess it's acting more like the pitch modulation mode..?

First thing to do is mess with the knobs and switch settings around to make sure you can't get back to the regular chorus sounds.

If that doesn't do anything, run it by itself on the right adapter (recommended voltage & amperage) to see if that fixes the problem. If it does, you need to adjust accordingly.

If that doesn't work, then it's probably time to call the EBS support folks.

That definitely sounds like a power supply problem.
