Hardwire Stereo Chorus clips

Here are some bass clips.

Bass -> Hardwire Chorus -> Digitech Jamman

Saved to PC and converted from .WAV to .MP3

Each clip features a clean tone sample before the effected sample. There are 7 clips, each clip features the tone from each chorus mode in the pedal. The clips are very low volume, you'll have to turn the volume up to hear them well.

Overall I think this pedal is more for those looking for a really subtle chorus. That's what I use it for. I don't think it gets very thick or whirly.

Thanks so much for uploading those clips man. I assume each of those recordings was done with the depth knob at its hghest? I think that might be the one for me, but it does seem a tad thin of a chorus

Yup each clip had the Depth and Level maxed. The level works more as a blend than overall volume.

That Hardwire sounds really good but also very subtle liku you said. Mayby Boss CE-5 will do the job for very metallic chorus?

I've been looking at the EHX Neo Clone and the T-Rex Sweeper. Any opinions?

The Neo Clone, to my understanding, is a Small Clone that is tiny. I like the concept, but they are nonexistent here in Madison.

I like the built-in chorus from the Roland Jazz Chorus, such as the one in mine. I also add an EHX Stereo Polychorus, and a Digitech Whammy, set to 'Deep' and toe down. It is thick, but not all one, big mushy cloud. It's layered, and each of the three layers are distinctly audible. I'm interested in the Fulltone CFV-2 and the Strymon Ola, one of which isn't finished being built, and the other is so rare, that I refuse to acknowledge its existence.

try the hardwire reverb on the modulated setting its awesome. it adds chorus to the reverb instead of the bass note itself. I like it more than all the dedicated chorus pedals I've owned. its a thick noticeable chorus but because the chorus is tied to reverb its also very articulate. I've tried a bunch, the boss bass chorus sucked I put it on the more extreme settings and still hardly noticed it on when I step on a pedal I want it to be a drastic difference, the digitech bass multichorus was pretty thick but had a harsh top end and attack to it i wasn't big on. the Boss CE-1 is definetly the best chorus from boss that I've tried personally. but yeah guys try out the hardwire reverb and put it on the modulated setting.

this is a song with a lot of the digitech bass multi chorus I used to use its a very affordable pedal, maybe what your looking for, i just thought it was kinda harsh for my taste
