This is very useful to prevent the low end from being smeared and washed out. Also, it has a very low noise. The price is also good. | Well put.....I'll second that.......

Like a few have said, it only had a rate knob and a depth switch, but I've seen a tone of people replace the switch with a knob to give more variation. However, I've had no reason to do this as I think the depth switch works well enough. |

Personally, I'm happy with my EHX Clone Theory... in chorus mode 1 (non adjustable depth) it's a very clean and glassy sound. In mode 2, with depth and rate knobs set to about 11 o'clock, you can get that really thick velvety tone that no other chorus pedal can get, great for lead bass tones...

Was modeled on the original EX Small Clone. True bypass (since 2000), depth knob, speed knob and USA made circuit boards, double-sided to isolate the signal from any noise, and professionally soldered for perfect, reliable circuitry. These also have more shielding, less jumpers, and no volume drop when the pedal is switched ON. Not to mention the optional "Deep" toggle. A must for bassists. And you can turn it off for other sounds or for playing standard guitar with it. http://www.analogman.com/clone.htm

I had the EHX Small Clone for a while but it didn't sound good at all with my VT Deluxe. Check out my YouTube vids to see how they sound in my pedal configurations. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
