Chunk Brown Dog eBay steal!!!

Sign in to disble this ad
Just scored a Chunk Brown Dog on eBay for $91 (plus $10 ship)!!!!

I just don't get why bassists don't sell stuff here. They go for twice on TB than on eBay. I see this all the time. Same pedal sold last week on the bay for just over $100. You'd think all bassists know about TB.

Congrats, and thanks for keeping me from spending money that I don't have! I followed that acution, but got a long awaited phone call right around the same time it ended. I figured it would skyrocket at the last minute anyway.

I've been hoping the market value of Brown Dogs would finally drop. Maybe that time has come.

Love me some Brown Dog fuzz. Recently picked up an Octavius Squeezer - programmable fuzz, filter, VCO, clean signals with all types of confusing routing. Even better than the Brown Dog, though more expensive.

Ebay has become a hit or miss thing for me, too many blown deals and disputes.

I always use Gixen and bid-snipe. Lets you group bids on similar items, gives you a hands-off system to get items... or not get them when others out-bid you. But you don't get caught up in the heat-of-the-moment over-pay, or have to physically be there to bid.

I bought the Dog to pair with 00Funk. I looked at the Squeezer, but heard too many conflicting reviews. And yes, the price was more than I wanted to pay.

Possibly. Some dude out of Georgia, says he's dumping his pedal collection.

I saw that one today too. He had it up last week for like $190, but took it down and relisted.

Between my recent G&L and Chunk purchases, looks like I won't be reselling anytime soon.

Tempest,

There was a BIN $125 that was relisted today. That wasn't yours, was it?

There's a good chance that it was. Somehow the transaction got messed up. I contacted the seller, all is good now. This is the first time I've used eBay in a couple of years. I'm almost got ripped off.

When I asked the seller about when to expect shipment, eBay told him I was a "phisher". Even though the money was taken out of my account.

Wow, I was wondering what went wrong. Did you get it straightened out? I guess I'm asking because the deal seemed almost too good to be true.
