The 'Civil War' is happening at my house.

I want to share my happiness.

I bought it because I had to know, NOW I KNOW why this pedal I so sought after

The sound is HUUUUGE, I cannot describe it..

It has too much bottom (something I thought I'd never say)
I had to roll off the tone of the effect.

No fuzz I have ever tried can come even close to this thing...

I have used the Black Russian, The Bass Muff and the NYC Reissue.

Got any soundclips to share? Just started looking into muffs recently and would love to hear any clips you have.

Agreed. I have a Civil War Muff and it looks more like my Pug's @$$ after switching dog food than a pedal, lol...

If I got a Civil War in that state I wouldn't even play it. I'd throw the sucker in a glass case and drool in awe daily...

Great find man...

I just made a comparison between the CIVIL WAR MUFF vs BLACK RUSSIAN (Small Box)

Conclusions: The Civil War is more "creamy" than the Black Russian and has at least 20-25% more low end than the Black Russian... you feel that something is missing in the Black Russian....

I don't think a youtube video will catch the whole difference, I'll try uploading clips to sound cloud.

Questions? let me know.

I loved the black russian but the low end loss was SEVERE. Also had a Fuzzrocious Grey Stache(CWM clone), but wasn't as in love with its distortion/fuzz as the Black Russian... though it had all the low end and mid bite I could ask for. Interested to hear clips with the actual civil war muff. Good luck.
