Classic Fuzz Pedal?

I want a fuzz pedal that's gonna give me a real "vintagey" tone, that can also work well with guitar, I really don't have much experience with pedals.

Any suggestions? I'm also on a budget, keep that in mind.

Define vintage?

List a few examples of bands etc

I'm personally a huge fan of the Mojo Hand Huckleberry and consider it the best of the Fuzz Face's which is your more smooth 60's style fuzz

The newly released Catalinbread Merkin is the most vintage I've heard for a long time but its the harsher 60's tones

There are loads of fuzz's out there but I suspect you'll be looking for a Fuzzface clone.

For the bass only, the guitar tone's fairly easy to emulate.
