I am not very familiar with pedals and i'm looking for a good clean boost pedal. Also, is there any good ones used for guitars that work for bass? |

| | | | The BBE Boosta grande is GARBAGE!!!! It adds so much coloration, it blows!
I ran this same thred a few weeks and got some great input but the one I went with was the Creation Audio MK.4.23
Sereous clean, no color what-so-ever! tons of boost, does one thing, does it extremely well.

Clean, loud, dependable, cheap. I love mine for switching between basses with differing output levels, sweetens the tone just a hair. |

It is also a very go "swiss army knife" type of a pedal cause in addition to the booster effect, it's also got a DI output and the VLE and VPF knobs found on all Markbass amps. It's a great tool to have, and it is the cornerstone of my sound.

The Super Chili Picoso, which is still available, has the same 'fat' circuit as the Serrano as well as a clean'ish boost.
The MXR/CAE MC-401 Boost/Line Driver is another suggestion...it does add a tiny amount of 'shimmer' to the tone, but nothing over-the-top.
