Clean/Dirty Blend pedal?

Sign in to disble this ad
Does anyone make a good clean/dirty blend pedal, such as for an external serial effects loop? Ideally it'd have the option of a high pass filter for the effected side, but I'd settle for a good wah-style rocker pedal that blends between a clean and dirty signal.

I know I can find schematics for something basic, but I'd be interested to know if a premade solution existed first.

my electro-harmonix big bass muff has a "dry" setting which is supposedly a blend of clean and dirty. i'm sure that's not the only one though

Wounded paw makes a rocker pedal for blending a signal. I have been GAS-ing for this: http://www.woundedpaw.com/catalog/pr...roducts_id=136

Morely also makes one: http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/p...ELAID=46750837

The Wounded Paw can be customized- you can add a DI transformer, extra output loop, etc.

+1 to the Wp Blender. Built one myself and it has a permanent place on my board.

i use a boss ls-2 line selector. I have issues with most distortion pedals not only adding distortion, but totally changing my sound in a way i dont like. I do a 50/50 blend and it seems to overcome this pretty well. I leave the distortion pedal on all the time and toggle the distorted sound with the line selector pedal. got the ls2 for like 40$ on ebay.

I Just got the Fender Sublime. Yeah..it's huge, but the Disk lets you blend the signal in AND it has the crossover.

It's Killer. That and my SansAmp Bass DI is it for me

Will that wounded paw pedal (or any other blender that I may not know about) keep the clean signal the same and will simply add the effected loop on top of the existing clean sound? I guess it's not really a blend that way, as the original clean signal wouldn't be attenuated at all, but that's really what I want.

It's a blend...turn the knob to the left the ratio of clean increases (not volume - separate knob), turn the knob to the the ratio of the loop increases.

The Boss LS-2 acts like a mini mixer in this function and you adjust the level of the effected signal and the level of the dry Bass signal separately anywhere from zero to a quite substantial boost.

Radial Big Shot Mix. Good price, high quality, and it has a phase control which can be essential depending on what pedals you are using.
