Clicking Boss DD-5 Delay

Hi, long time reader, first time poster. TB has such an awesome community. I was wondering if anyone would have some input on this:

I bought a Boss DD-5 Delay off craigslist for pretty cheap. It works fine, except that the Reverse mode has some random clicking/popping noises. I thought this was odd because the rest of the modes work okay. Any idea why this is, and I know this is a long shot, but can anything be done about it? Thanks!

Yeah, I have the DD-5. I think the reverse is inherently flawed in that you can still hear your original signal(might attribute to the popping etc.) There are a few guys who mod the DD-5 specifically for the reverse mod.
