I also own a clip on one by Peterson tuners - that's awesome and has lots of sweetened and adjusted tunings - not just for guitar but also for orchestral tuning for more accurate 5ths. |

I didn't ever notice that pinhole mic on the front.. we practice in a small room and there's always someone who can't restrain themselves when I'm tuning. I'm going to put a drop of superglue on that pinhole and put it back in service, thanks! |

BTW, the model I got was the SN-8.

I like the function and sturdiness but I'm getting months out of a battery compared to the 1st gen Intellitouch it replaced that I got years out of.

Having a bad day or something?

..tiny letters.. mine might be an actual pos then because it's definitely in vibe mode. At any rate I haven't had the same experience.. and my bass has great sustain so can't blame it on that. It doesn't respond very well in the practice space. Maybe it's too sensitive. I'd try it here solo but I left it in the case turned on apparently and it's dead atm. |

Stood right next to the drummer while he hit the bass drum several times loud, and no interference, and once again, tuned me up right to pitch. But man, that is one slippery surface on that tuner! I dropped it twice. At this rate, I have a feeling it won't be my last clip-on tuner ever

I still have a Snark, but I have a Pitchblack+ on my board now. It seemed to work for bass, but the Snark won't tune my guitar. It seems like it'll get the guitar "in the ballpark" but when I go for a tuner, I want it "dead honkin' perfect."
