Clips: Circuit Bent DOD FX25 & FX70

Okay, so I just finished circuit bending two pedals -- a third generation DOD FX25 envelope filter and a DOD FX70 Metal X.

Setup goes: busted Michael Kelly Club Custom 5-string >> pedal >> 10 Watt practice amp (set flat). The amp is mic'd.

Clips go straight bass, then with effect, then with the circuit bend engaged, then a little messing around with controls.

i like what you have done with the fx25...

i got similar stuff and more when i messed with my maxonAF9 (internal trim pots)... but i risked a lot more money than you

That FX70 is crazy sounding! Not to much in a musical way though.

Usability and musicality depend on your situation and attitude. I've been in bands where that would fly, though I should probably get a blend for it.

Admittedly, the drone bits make it hard to use sometimes. So it's a good thing I like playing drone music

That filter sound at the end of the circuit bent clip of the fx25 would sound sick through a fuzz. The way the envelope closes so slowly, its sexily nice. Back when i owned a qtron my main complaint was the envelope closed too early.
