Which comes first...?

I have never used effex or an EQ in my bass rig. I've always patched in straight from the bass to the amp to the cab.

I now have an EQ, a rackmount efx unit and a BBE sonic maximizer. Can someone help me determine in what order these units need to be patched?

Is it better to EQ prior to adding efx or after?? What about the BBE?

I know the amp comes last and that's about it. Any suggestions are appreciated.

The BBE would be last in line before the amp, but otherwise, just try it different ways, and see what sounds best to you.
