Comparison wnated of Barber Linder pedal vs Tech VT

Sign in to disble this ad
As I understand it; both pedals are designed to emulate the Ampeg tube tonal characteristics and that the Linden goes after the B-15 tone while the VT does the same but can also get more aggressive like an SVT.

Can you describe the subtle differences?
Does the Linden get closer than the VT does to the classic B-15 tone?
The tone clips I've heard from the VT makes it seem like it's very sensitive to knob changes and that there are some very aggressive tones that are way out there.

Was thinking this might be a nice effect to warm up the sound of a Trace all transistor head for the few occasions needed.
Any other pedal suggestions for this application?

You're better off comparing the VT and the Flipster. The Linden is just an EQ; maybe a magic one that 'warms up' your sound, but it doesn't do grit or wool like the VT Bass.
