| actually,i owned vox cooltron snake charmer compression,and,although it was a bit 'squishy',it KILLED all hum and hiss,in the way that it sounded a bit SCARY...
now,i traded it ofc,for a markbass compressore,one of the reasons being versatility and all(with vox s.charmer there's only so much knob-twidling before entering the hard squish zone),but i still kinda like snake charmer....it coloured the sound into a warm tube driven bass...BUT high loss and squish factor are the definite downside. |
