Compressor vs Limiter enhancer

i have the boss compression sustainer cs-3 and i was wondering what the difference is between that and the boss limiter enhancer would it be worth trading in?

they both compress, but the limitier enhancer expands the tone

Please read the FAQ linked in my sig to learn about compressors vs. limiters. The "enhance" knob on the LMB-3 is just a mid-scoop EQ.

I would try out the Limiter/Enhancer before you get one if possible. I had one for a brief time and hated it! Major tone sucker!

The LMB-3 Owner's Manual doesn't explain the Enhance function that clearly and simply. Lots of helpful reading on your FAQ's - thanks, bongomania!
