Confused on Line 6 between X3 Live & XT Live

I thought that the Bass Pod XT Live floor unit was the high end for bass as far as the Line 6 brand was concerned.

Now I see the Bass Pod X3 Live floor unit and thought it was for the guitar only but I see it does the bass too.

I assume the X3 is the newer of the 2 and might not be as bass friendly?? Little guidance please.

Yes, the X3 is the newest version of the Pod series and, yes, it also does bass. You could say that it's like the Pod XT Live and Bass Pod XT Live formed into one unit, assumingly with updates. It can also run dual set ups which is pretty cool.

So its not just for guitarists. It is for both guitar and bass but has everything the bassist has in the XT Live. ?

Thanks, that answers my question. Now to decide whether or not the BOSS GT10B or the X3 is better.
