Cool Ebay Pedal Search Site

Sign in to disble this ad
This is an Ebay search tool that shows which pedals by category are the "Most Watched". "Most Watched" is a ranking that is not available through the normal or advanced Ebay search.

"Most Watched" is when a buyer adds the item to his My Ebay "Watch List", and shows up in a seller's My Ebay as "Number Watching".

It picks up the highly desirable and sometimes overlooked pedals.

That's pretty cool. I found some things I was watching near the top of the lists.

I have a bookmark for everything in the effects pedal category sorted by newest. I check it several times a day. I've gotten some great buy it nows like that and seen some great things sell mere minutes before seeing them.

along the same lines, but for craigslist:

someone whipped up a nice CraigsList search aggregator for the music instruments classifieds that will return results for multiple selected cities. great, now i can find more useless gear i don't really need to spend money on!

While that "most watched" tool is very cool, and I will use it, it has a downside: the more watchers there are, the higher the likelihood that the item will sell for a high price. It's the under-viewed items that are more likely to sell for less.

Yep, sometimes it pays to be a poor speller if you're not the seller

Yeah... what we really need is a site that will search for auctions that are just about to end, that nobody (or hardly anybody) is watching! That'd be awesome...

I've added some new features, most watched guitars, amps, bass, etc....

In response to 98dvl...

The majority of auctions are those that nobody is watching... an alternative is to check and see if the auction you are watching is listed on www.VintagePedal.com thus indicating a higher than normal interest.

oh cool I was wondering what happened to your old link.
I do have a question though, how do you create a search for items most watched?

New Feature...

For those on the other side of the Pond, I've added some UK Ebay most watched categories.
