Cool effect combo that I'll probably never use live:
Subdecay Prometheus > 'The Westie (a modded ProCo You Dirty Rat) > MXR Carbon Copy.
Sounds so awesome. I tried it last night during rehersal. My bandmates said, "Can you please stop that?"
Bummer. I liked it!! |

Chances of ever being used = .05%

set the output on the ODB high enough so that it makes the flange self oscilate. amazingly fun, but your bandmates will consider hitting you. Hard.

BSW+BBM+Prometheus=no problem. Rat+Prometheus+Moog Ring mod set to bell like tone+DMB=no problem. Self oscillating DMB recorded into DD-7 in several layers=no problem :P

| | Mostly french, not really fried | | Join Date: Oct 2009 Location: Somewhere near Montreal, CA | | | Here are a few combos don't think I'll ever be able to use in our band's format:
- Digitech BSW on type 5 (5, 12, 3 pm left to right knobs) + EHX BBM: gives out a nasty souding almost talkbox effect
- BSW on type 2 (10, 11, 2 pm settings) + BBM: really good octave & fuzz effect, with light filter.
- An all-EHX line-up: modded Bassballs + Small Stone phaser + BBM: very 70's-ish
I could actually use the last combo without the BBM in a new song we're doing, some kind of funky-latino thing.
