Cool video comparing octave pedals

It's been up since the beginning of the year, so some of y'all may have seen this already... But as someone who hasn't yet gotten try out different octave pedals firsthand (and so have really only been able to go on what I've read on here), I thought this video did a pretty good job showcasing a little of what the OC-2, Micro POG, and OctaBass can do... and the differences between them. So for those of you who've tried 'em (and/or any others... notably, the Foxrox Octron, Mutron Octave Divider, Ampeg Sub-Blaster, or MXR's octavers), what do you think? Does it do a good job of showing each unit's "character?" I'd ask how some of the others compare to the sounds heard in the video, but that's been discussed plenty of times before (just not necessarily in the context of comparing them to this video... but to the three pedals represented in it nonetheless). Anyway, I just thought it was a pretty well done video (particularly in looping the same line over and over... really let you hear the differences in how each pedal handled the same signal going into it) and thought I'd share it...

Very useful video, shame about the clipping when he adds more octaves but still enough info to make a choice.

The POG is nice in that it adds an octave up as well but nothing beats that EBS Octabass, IMHO. That thing has some serious booty when run through FOH! I'm sorry I sold mine. I will own another!

I'd say that different octavers aren't better or worse. It's only a matter of personal taste.

I like Octron best. It's dirty and punchy, but at the same time it can be creamy. I've spent some time with Octamizer. It's a versatile pedal for sure due to filter knob: from clean and boomy to more focused and dirty.

Of the three in the video, I'd have to say the POG is my least favorite. It's definitely a unique sound (got that organ vibe going real well), but just not my cup o' tea. I love how the Octabass sounds, though... very fat! The OC-2 in that video almost has a bit of an 8-bit console sound to it...

Yeah wow, I love how the Octabass sounds in this clip too . Ive toyed around with getting an octave pedal for a while now and never really considered the EBS...until now! Hmmmm...

I just can never get beyond the synthetic midi sound of the Pog. I'd love to have it's octave up, but I just cannot like the thinner un-natural sound of it. IMHO.
