I haven't used them but I had the owner of Core demonstrate how they work. Very solid design. We were at adjoining booths at a trade show. Great guy with really good products. I walked out with 2 guitar cables and a speaker cable. Very happy with them. I'd guess you'd like these as well.

i never liked solder-less kits. it's kinda a pain to get a good, solid connection, and every time i've unscrewed one some part that isn't supposed to has breached the cable.

i'd rather take the time to solder my own. it's cheaper and not that hard.

'course, IME, IMO, YMMV all that.
