It is soviet analog for Roland Space Echo. It's name pronounces as "esko", but i guess idea was to make associations with echo, so letter "c" is "c", not "s", so it is called "ecko".
The unit have 4 inputs - 2 for mic's, for guitar, and for keyboards (in USSR electric pianos and synthesizers were called electric organs). Also there is 2 outputs (dont know the difference between output M and EMI), and output for expression pedal.
Four knobs which are under cover, are controls for digital modulation. From left to right: Modulation depth max/min; Modulation rate max/min; Switch between flanger and reverb; Save settings/memory.
On the rear pannel, on left side, must be volume or fx amount knobs for each input channel, not sure about this. And switch in middle, i guess, is for choosing which channel will be controlled via expression pedal.
In the middle there is vibrato control. Knobs are for depth and rate. Not sure abbout buttons on the upper row (pitch shift, i guess?), but lower is for additional fx, which are fuzz, 2 unknown for me, and i guess some additional vibrato. On one site i found that there must be wah and something called "shmitter" (slicer?).
Havent heard this unit, but found out, that it is pretty rare and hard to fix. If it works, i guess it would be good for some experimentation in studio, or for rehearsal use, but it would be too heavy for me to use it live
P.s. if someone of you buys it, you will have to re-solder all inputs and outputs to jacks, or get din-jack cables. The way to know how exactly to solder cables, there is old russian method called "metod tika" - just try connecting each cord with each joint, till you find workind combination
