The HOLY FIRE OVERDRIVE / DISTORTION PEDAL
Introducing the Holy Fire Overdrive / Distortion pedal from Creation Audio Labs.
For guitar and bass.
Featuring pro-audio quality overdrive, distortion and gain functions with high-cut control and unique L.E.D. interaction. This ultra-wide bandwidth pedal responds exactly like a tube without changing your tone and is unbelievably quiet.
The Holy Fire is a different approach to overdrive and distortion pedals. It’s extremely responsive. Go from overdriven sounds to clean tones by rolling back the volume knob on your instrument. Retain your full tone spectrum, boost or cut your volume and dial in YOUR tone.

the redeemer makes passive pickups sound more like active pickups, in that they sound more even.

What's your initial thoughts on the pedal? | It new and pretty, so I don't want to get too excited. That said, I've been struggling for an OD/Dist forever. I can get raunchy, I can never get 'kinda dirty' that makes me happy.. but this I think sounds top notch, there is no lows lost until you really crank the distortion knob (and then it starts to compress a ton). The 48v power supply that you must use is a little bit of a turn off. |

Too many dist/od/fuzz pedals make your bass sound processed, and fake. Very few, that I've heard, sound like that. EBS Valve Drive is another. Thanks.

The mid-to-high gain tones sounded to me exactly the same as countless distortions at much lower price points, but the low gain tones are worth the price of admission! I hope to hear some more clips of those sometime. |

I thought the distortions were pretty good, especially for a pedal that does such great low gain overdrive. A hell of a lot better than most pedals that claim to "go from a warm overdrive to all out distortion"
Maybe I missed it, but what's the price? |

I think I actually prefer the Polish Love OD to this... At less than 1/3 of the price. And 1/5 of the voltage. And 1/2 the board space. It's worth it to lose the super-cool LED setup. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
