crime of the century.

Sign in to disble this ad
hey there guys. I really dig the idea of creating really huge, fat, epic synthy bass sounds.
think the end of 'crime of the century' by Supertramp (2:10 onwards).
so far i'm thinking an octave pedal and tons of compression.

but what i'm asking about is a really fat envelope filter (something that can sound a little like the 'low' setting on an Ibanez WD7?)

anyone got ideas?

Ant Howl.

EHX XO Bass Micro Synth is flexible and under $300. Google it!

Synth, enveloping, sweeps, square wave, suboctave and octave...

Or a synth, plain and simple

The micro synth is great, go for it, is almost an analog multi synth effect... versatile as hell.
