hey guys.
i'm wondering if any of you have tried the older prunes and custards to the new one?

i just snagged an older version. for pretty much 50% off, and it looks pretty sweet. would be receiving it in a few days.

paul crowther is sending over some hotcakes and a pnc to the shop i work at soon, he said at the end of jan of early feb.

but im impatient and love to hear what you guys think

Awesome pedal by old one do you mean pre dual toggle switchs? if so don't worry they only added like guitar modes and things in the newer ones so the old one is just as good for bass

i've recently been having a lot of GAS for one. I really can't justify it thought with 2 fuzzes already on my board and one synth.

yet i still want one.

Easy to get in UK. Guitarist I work with has both a Hotcake and a Prunes & Custard. Mighty fine noises seem to come from both!

Moderately easily.....Pedalgeek.com has them sometimes, though they were often out of stock when I was hunting for one.

Though... I got mine from a guy from Wellington who was here for school. Traded him a mexi Stratocaster for it. The Prunes sounds much better on bass than on guitar.

I love the distortion and synth sounds, but it's also great for adding weird resonances to things. Have any of you guys listened to the Latin Playboys? It's a couple of the guys from Los Lobos and some other people, they used the P&C a lot in the recording, even using it on drums and things. Very trippy.

received it today, n i rocked around with it straight away. man this thing sounds awesome!
i prob don't need it at this point of time, since i'm mainly playing at church and all, retired from one of my bands (got lazy in managing them at the same time), and have so far rejected a few others... trying to find the right fit.

but i'm guessing i'll prob keep this bugger =p

Clips?

I hear amazing things about this pedal but have absolutely NO idea what it does, or what it sounds like.

Fill me in?
