Hi all, i have a marshall guv'nor pedal that i have been using for years to get a good crunch sound, but i am looking to try something new. Does anyone have an idea of what pedal will get me a warm-sounding crunch? Thanks!

Like anything else intended for guitar, you gotta EQ it properly, but I haven't had any major loss issues. I use it for a "Marshall stack in a box" type drive.

I also agree with said GT-2. Crunch and munch in a little box.

What don't you like about the Guv'nor? That might help us make an effective recommendation.

Well, i don't really not like anything about it, i'm just searching for some more variety. But, i think i might just use that, and get a marshall jackhammer and see how that goes. Not sure yet.
