crybaby bass wah blend mod?

Sign in to disble this ad
I like my crybaby bass wah... kinda... mostly...
only, i really wish i could blend the clean signal in about 50/50 with the wah signal...

it seems to me that it shouldn't be hard to just drill a hole in the side and add a little pot you can adjust for blend... right?

can anyone direct me to the destination i seek?

Just putting a pot in there won't work. Here's a circuit that will work: http://seanm.ca/stomp/bblender.html

doesnt it already do that to some extent? As fars as i was aware, the 105q splits your signal and leaves the lows alone and wah's the highs, thats how even with the wah 'toe down' you still have most of your original lows.

i could be wrong tho

to a point... but when you are all the way back on the heel, it just has too much midrangey squawking that i don't care for. i would prefer a more transparent sound, and i would like more of the envelopes i have before the wah to cut through cleaner.
