I want to start to try some overdrive effect. The guy at the music store recomended me a Cusack Screamer . Have any of you tried this one? I do not not need really much distortion , just a little bite to add an extra flavour to some songs. Any other recomendation?

I haven't tried this one, but I am interested in what it sounds like. So if you do try it, let us know how it sounds.

I tried one briefly at home when I was auditioning tube screamer based overdrives. To me, it wasn't anything special and sounded relatively generic; it didn't wow me; the low end wasn't really "there", bit it didn't exactly loose the lows. I much preferred the overall sound and flexibility of the Mi Audio Tube Zone.
