Custom Pedal Art and Finishing Questions

I apologize for the misleading title. I can't think of a good way to word it.

I am working on refinishing a pedal and I want to add some personal touches. What type of transfer paper should I use? I used to have some water slide transfer sheets but the kit had disappeared. If that is the best option then I will probably just order some and put the work on hold.

Also, what options do I have for getting white into the logos? Would I have to paint a section and apply the logo above it?

Finally, what are some good finishing options? I am using Rustoleum Crystal Clear Enamel because it was what the paint can suggested. I'm worried it will be too soft and smudgy. Will it harden up or should I get something else (if so, what is a hard finish that can be applied via aerosol)? If I do grab another spray on clear coat, would the existing enamel cause any conflict with whatever I choose to replace it with?

Thanks a lot for your help. I'm having a good time with this project. I really messed it up on my first try and almost just settled on sub par work. Thankfully I got motivated to strip the paint and redo it. It is looking a lot nicer and I'm more proud of it.
