I've been gassing hard for some of the super useful utility boxes from This1smyne. The more I thought about it, the more I wanted 1 pedal with a bunch of the features found in all his different boxes. I put this drawing together tonight and sent it off to Dan for a quote.
What do you think? Do you see any potential improvements or problems? I've owned the M-80 and BDDI which don't have mutes or loops. The EBS Microbass is really expensive and the loop doesn't have a footswitch. I don't really need/want another DI or built-in distortion like most pre-amp pedals. I think I need to go custom to get what I want.
If Dan can't build this pedal, can you recommend a builder?

I built something very close to that (w/o the ab aby switch) a few years ago and it certainly did what I wanted it to do. I crammed it into a 1590 which was good for board space but bad for big feet tap dancin' |

THAT would make me put a blender on my board.
very neat. |

Jimmy Roc, Any chance you could post a pic of your pedal? I'd love to check it out.
I want the A/B/Y so I can play my bass keytar at the same time as my regular bass or take it out of the mix as needed. I've found it pretty easy to match levels on the bass and synth using their volume knobs.
I also asked him to paint it bright yellow so I can add a custom-painted Krang later. Thinking about calling this pedal "THE F'ING KRANG" because like this pedal he is a small, mostly-harmlesss mastermind that controls everything by a few knobs and switches.
If any folks happen across this thread later, please steal my idea! just show me a pic so I can see how it turned out.
p.s. Behndy, you're a dangerous person for giving me the idea to get pedals customized. Very very dangerous....

Behnderz, you're PM never came through (Inter-Continental PM's take longer to arrive? )

Excited to show y'all the artwork I'm planning for this baby. Folks with experience: Hand-painted or cut vinyl?

I'm slightly less dedicated to the turtles, so Krang will have to fit on my pedal instead of my torso.
I had a cool idea for the graphic, then Behndy came along and turned my idea into a horribly misspelled work of filthy, enlightened genius (typical).
I've pulled it back just a bit more so I won't have to censor every picture of my pedalboard.

The T1M custom build page says 2-6 weeks in Big Red Letters. It took 4 1/2 months for the pedal to finally ship back to me.
I found three big mistakes in the first 30 seconds I had it and so it went back to South Carolina for another 6 weeks. Along the way there was very little communication. I saw on Facebook that there were a number of other people in the same boat as me. Pretty unfortunate given how popular his standard models and mods are.
I can take some pictures tomorrow. But wanted to get this out there as a heads up to anybody thinking about a custom order with T1M.
