To daisy chain or not?

I've got a PT2 with the PP2 mounted underneath.

My pedal order is:
Groove Regulator
Micro Q-tron
Boss CS-3
Bad Monkey
Turbo Rat
EXH Bass Big Muff
B:assmaster
Boss GEB-7
and rounding out with a VT Bass.

From the PP2, I've got one isolated (12 volt) going to my Groove Regulator, and another going to a Turbo Rat (positive tip). The rest are all daisy chained.

I was wondering, since I have 5 extra spots in the PP2, is there anything on my board that's better, not daisy-chained? I've got plenty of room and plenty of cables.

Basically, I'm asking if any of the above pedals would perform better with their own isolated power source, rather than being grouped with the others?

Thanks in advance.

It depends on the mA draw. You could put two pedals on a daisy chain, and keep the rest isolate, as long as they don't surpass 100mA. I'd keep the assmaster, bad monkey, chorus, and big muff isolated.

does your signal have hum? If so, figure out which ones. If not, don't worry about it - if they turn on, and you're not surpassing your mA draw limit, and there's no hum, no need to fix what ain't broken, i say.

How old id the CS-3? If it is an ACA version it will work better in a daisy chain. According the bossarea site ACA versions of the CS-3 have a black label as opposed to a silver label on PSA versions. If it is a PSA it doesn't matter if it is daisy chained or plugged into one of the 9v PPII outlets. Of course if you have an ACA pedal that's what the 12v outlets are intended for (I'm pretty sure).

I could be wrong but I thought all the 9v outlets on the PPII were Isolated. I would use a different outlet for all of them and the 12v for the CS-3 if it is indeed an older ACA version. For curiosity's sake Any particular reason why you are using 12v on the GR?

When I had a PP2+, I ran some pedals daisy-chained, but only when I absolutely had to (so as not to have to get another PP2+) and even then, I limited it to 2-3 low mA draw pedals per daisy chain that usually weren't turned on at the same time. However, I never experienced any hum or anything like that. I am also using a daisy chain on my guitar board to power a tuner (PolyTune), fuzz (Big Muff USA), and boost (Z.Vex SHO clone) which has an extremely low mA draw from each pedal.

I remember when he posted that. That was a fine night with the GR.
