Dammit. Just when I think I've got it figured out. (POWER question)

So, im looking and all my pedals will be 9vdc center neg, except for the Superdelay and the TC Nova Mod.

12vdc center pos.

So, I go searching and find the T-Rex FuelTank. 500ma on a 12vdc plug. Problem is, I don't think it'll work for 2 reasons

1: 2.5mm plug. Not sure on either of the SD or NM.
2: the Tank is center neg, and the 2 center pos adaptors I have with my PowerAll/OneSpot are 2.1mm input

I was hoping to just be able to get 2 FTs (i would be powering 6 dirtboxes, a loop switch, aby, meatwad, the stuff on my lunchbox and prolly the mixer as well) and fugeddaboutit, but it seems I can't.

ideas?

Quick EDIT: Before anyone starts spouting about the VLPPVersa - I CANNOT FIND A CANADIAN DEALER IN MY AREA THAT HAS THEM LISTED

My Bodgan pedal has a positve ground on it and runs fine off of the Fuel Tank jr. I have so long as it's not daisy chained. Same goes for my Headrush. As far as the 12v, I don't have anything that runs like that on my main board right now. When I had the old Qtron on there, it was 12v, but it also didn't take the standard size barrel. Hope this helps at least a bit.

Its not positive ground, is positive tip. BIG diff. Opposite polarity to the boss standard.

Unfortunately, I don't think that outs 5/6 on the PP2+ would work either. The site for the Superdelay says it will, but im not sure if the same thing will work for the TC nova

The Nova Delay require 12V DC 300 mA.
You could plug the wall wart into the back of the Pedal Power. I did that with a Blue Ringer for awhile, cleaned up the board nice and respectable like.

I could. Actually, now that I try to find it again, I cannot find where I got the "center positiveness" of the Nova pedals.

So maybe using the wart would be a better option. (2nd EDIT: actually I'd be tempted to just get the ModFactor if I went with the wart in the back of the pp2+ option)

Im thinking that I could chain 2 PP2+'s together, using the back socket on one and use the other back socket for the Nova wart.

using the 5 or 6 on one at 12v for the superdelay, and the 5 or 6 on the other (at 9v) for my lunchbox setup (250mAs would be enough) would leave 6 9vdc on each, for 12 total.

And I only need 9 for the 6xdirt, switcher, aby and meatwad (when i get it)

EDIT: well.... 10 if you count the Mixer.

I would look into daisychaining the PP2+ before buying two all at once. Add up the mA requirements of your pedals, make sure there are no weird grounding issues, and go to town.

Then again, it seems you're creating quite a beast, maybe you should just get one of each popular power supply and worry about the details later.

LOL. I have no idea how many mAs most of my peds use. The nice part about the PP2+ is that each out is 100mAs and should do for most of the peds (IME) and the Empress site says I can use out 5 or 6 to power it, with the warning not to use the one I don't use to power the SD:

Im gonna go look up the stuff on my lunchbox and see if it's less than 250mA. If it is I should be peachy to use 5 or 6 on the second, tho I'd prolly buy the PP2+'s individually, as my boards blossom.

The only thing I guess I need to worry about is whether the 2nd PP2+ and the Eventide (go big or go home I say ) would draw more than 200W.

Well, just pulled the trig on a PP2+, just so I can test out that it'll work.

Wish me luck (LOL)
