would anyone here happen to know what effect john myung is using in the intro of the studio recording of DOE, i've never heard something like it before, and I cant really find an answer anywhere.

that's the best i can do, all the other ones the guitarists fool around during the intro and you can't hear the bass

damn. i was totally gonna try and beat everyone to the punch.. but yeah, it's a flanger with a real slow rate. it's from his eventide harmonizer rack thingie, i think.
