I know there's a lengthy thread on this, but man, this pedal is a lifesaver! After countless run ins with imposters there's a tried and true, easy to use bass overdrive pedal out there for everyone!!.. No need to double up on other effects to try and get the OD tone you're looking for. I've had this thing for four days and I can't stop smiling every time i engage it. From mild to heavy metal raw, skanky grunt - it's all here.
I picked up the last one Rob had from Effects Boutique in San Diego, but don’t worry he has more on the way. He’s also got a great place to demo it if you’re interested. Best $295 I’ve spent on an effect in three years! Seriously, stop trying to get one of those “big” boxes to do it for you. If you’re like me you know you’ve spent 100s buys and selling ODs trying to find nirvana. Look no further.
This is a personal endorsement (because I’m so freaking happy)!

For me, it's #3 on the list of great fuzz/distortion/overdrive pedals. |

1. Douglas (the manufacturer) gives TalkBass members a discount (it was like that when I bought mine, at least. Don't know if the offer still applies).
2. The price includes shipping anywhere in the world.
3. I wasn't charged any duties/taxes when mine arrived home. |

I was talking about it after listening to some demos and watching the accelerated build video, and my wife actually went and ordered one! Got it from Arsenal Music in Canada. So far I really like it, mild grind is my thing, and this has as much or as little as I could want.
