I just found this company and can't find much info about them. Some feedback on the pedals, preamps, and amps would be cool. Are they worth the hefty price tags? |

Several Talkbassers have DHA pedals, and have written reviews and comparisons with other tube and overdrive pedals. Check it out, TB is pretty cool, there's lots of good info. The one thing to watch out for is some of the Talkbass old-timers get pretty surly and tell everyone to use the search function all the time. Bunch of grumpy jerks if you ask me. |

EDIT: I think I managed to fit the best part in.

But my DHA-pedal is great. The tube-overdrive is fat and fuzzy. You can tweak it in every way possible. You can even choose between two different circuits (Si or Ger).
Just check out http://www.davehallamps.co.uk/Index.html you find a lot of info and audio samples.

I love it it can go from cleanish to over the top distortion and pretty much anything inbetween, the only down side is it has a passive eq stack so its not all that tweakable but when set right it sounds great IMO obviously so thumbs up from me, oh and I've owned a VT1 purist in the past it was a top light OD pedal as well.

In the US the pedals will be offered in both our normal colours plus others in sprayed boxes with silkscreen.

Dave | Interesting. Of course the inside is where the sound is. I'm not trying to bust on the lineup. But I really think that looks are important in the US market. Put a blue LED inside and some grille to let the light shine through and people will swear it sounds better. Perception is reality. |

From the Wiki:
Quantum Dot LEDs
Quantum Dots are semiconductor nanocrystals that possess unique optical properties. Their emission color can be tuned from the visible throughout the infrared spectrum. This allows quantum dot LEDs to create almost any color on the CIE diagram. This provides more color options and better color rendering white LEDs. Quantum dot LEDs are available in the same package types as traditional phosphor based LEDs.
(The CIE diagram is that colage type thing you see that displays all colours...Thats a lot of colours!! Take your pick )

There are some early stage reviews on basschat and the amps have been back for modification and improvements after these comments.
Try a search on BC, like DHA VTX or VT5
