dbx 160XT date code

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi, TB.

I've got a dbx 160XT and I'm trying to determine the date of production. It has a three-digit date code on the back, but I can't make any sense of it.

It simply reads:
114

Does anyone here know how to decipher this? If memory serves, this unit is 20-25 years old.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

I spoke to someone at Harmon (which has owned dbx since 1995), and he said that the 160XT was manufactured between 1989 and 1994.

He did not have any info about the date code on the unit, however.

Just out of curiosity, what makes you want to know the exact year it was made?
