I ordered one of these a few days ago, it should be showin up today, I am REALLY looking forward to goin home after work to beat on it. My Boss pedal (CS-3) was just not cutting it, getting all distorted with only modest input levels.

After a few rack mounted compressors inluding one from DBX, I am happiest with a Demeter Compulator pedal.

Good luck with the rack thing but don't rule out an awesome pedal.

It works very very well. The gate feature is kind of funky, as in, not so cool. BUt the compressor part is really nice.
