DC Brick /power supply Q???

Sign in to disble this ad
Did a search.......

I got a 'ONE-SPOT' & a 5 end 'daisy-chain' but am havin trouble with the connection from the pwr supply TO the daisy-chain.....
SO I'm wondering re getting a DUNLOP DC BRICK or similar. I basically only need 5 or 6- 9v neg pin outputs... & the BRICK has 7 + 3 18V- which is all good. Price is 'up-there' tho. but I don't mind that IF it works well & LASTS!!!!!
Any input here would be appreciated- cheaper items, better/worse, different ones - ANYTHING- to enable HASSLE free powering of my VT-bass, a Fuzz, a Synth, a Wah, A tuner - thats it usually- tho sometimes I MIGHT wanna add one more . Views PLEASE!!!

Thanx in advance.

Nah-HA ha!! - no prob re the ends etc.. just the connection between the 1spots 'male' plug & the Daisy-chains 'female socket is 'dodgy' at best!!!
SORRY if I wasn't & poss STILL aren't clear as a bell, Just need a reliable regulated pwr supply as wah is noisy w/ un-reg.was good w/1spotplugged into it. In fact ALL the pedals are fine with the ONE spot plugged direclty into them, but the daisy chain.... leaves a lot 2 be desired!!! & yes I HAVE tried 2 more daisy-chains- sma prob with both new ones... I'm sick of paying $$$ for stuff that doesn't do the job proply. Would rather pay more for summink that WORKS reliably EVERY TIME!!!

First could you try to clear up the spelling and grammar so that we can help you better.

Have you tried a different 1spot with the same daisy chain? It could be a problem with the adapter and not the daisy chain.

Are you sure that you have the correct daisy chain to go with your 1 spot? Mine go together really well. They even have a slight 'pop' to them when you seperate them.

Something doesn't sound right here

Anyway, to answer your question, the Dunlop DC bricks seems to show up on a few boards around here. Im not experienced with them, but they seem to be popular.
