dd3 hold function

Was just wondering how people used their boss delay hold function. I find it difficult to get the time set right and to get something good to be looped. also, its kind of annoying that you cant record something new while the hold is still playing.

was just wondering if its worth investing time in, or if i should just stick to my long delay times.

No. I find the Hold and Short modes just about useless. Of course someone could probably make it work right. I haven't used my DD-3 in a few months because I need to get a cable made in the right length to get it placed where I want it.

I don't use the hold function on my DD-3, I find that its useless. I use the DD3 for solos. If I want to loop something I use a looper, haven't found a use for it yet in a band setting.

I've used the HOLD function a few times by looping one note and playing harmonies on top. But that's about it...

+1 I have one song where I hold one note and playing over the top of it. I find the dd-3 very useful. I use the long delay, short and hold.

The long delay is pretty standard, the short one I use for some slap stuff.
