dead last in a chain: Boss Rv-3 or BBE Sonic Maximizer ?

OK...

Everything I've read on effect chain says that delay and reverb are to be the last in the chain.

Everything I've read about the BBE pedal says that IT should be the last one in the chain.

Now I have both and I pretty much figured out that they can't both be last.

I tried them both at the last and next-to-last position, can't really see a difference. Haven't tried it with my gig rig yet, won't be able until...next gig. I'd like to have the board set-up before.

So I'm asking : when you have both pedals, which one should go last ?

Mike

Id say the reverb should go last. Cant really explain why but it makes sense to me.

Each one should go after the other.

i would say BBE, the point of the BBE is that it lines up frequencies as they travel through the signal chain and cable, honestly, i would put the BBE as close to your amp input with as little cable as possible in between the input and the pedal as possible.

The BBE should be last, but I question the need for a Sonic Stomp in the first place.

I had a sonic stomp, and I put it last. I guess switch them around and let your ears be the judge, because IMHO it all depends on the effect you are after.

The BBE effect will be much more apparent the later you put it in your chain.
