Dean Markley PT-13 or PEWaves JPT-10

Both claim +1/-1 cent accuracy, true bypass, a range of 27.5 Hz (A0) - 4186 Hz (C8) and can be had for around $50. Which would you go with?

Twice the price, not true bypass and +3/-3 cent accuracy. If I was going to pay twice as much, I'd just wait until the Korg Pitch Black was ready to ship and save myself $10 and still get a unit with true bypass and +1/-1 cent accuracy.

Oh hey, glad I caught this thread! The Dean Markley PT-13 is a hunk of junk, one of the most bogus tuners ever. It operates slowly and cannot read open low E or B at all. The LED's move at a significant delay behind your actual turning of the tuners, and the note number readout shows the first harmonic just as often as the desired fundamental.

As if that wasn't enough, the footswitch is not true bypass! The only thing "true bypass" on the pedal is a parallel un-muted (unswitched) output jack. The bypass/mute switch is actually very poorly designed, and the "bypassed" tone is crap.

I have never been more disappointed in a pedal, ever.
