I want to add some effects to my overall tone but I don't feel like spending money on each individual pedal.
I know I need an expression pedal.
I also want to run some chorus, wah, distortion/OD/fuzz at a near constant. and a few bells and whistles wouldn't be so bad either.
I play sludge metal. So think Doom mixed with Hardcore.
tl;dr - what pedal is good?
EDIT: I'm leaning towards this one because I've used DigiTech when I played guitar and it wasn't bad at all. http://www.music123.com/Bass/Bass-Am...6000000000.sku

I like it because it's very simple and gets the job done. I'm pretty sure that you can write custom patches and such on it, but the standard stuff that it comes with is good enough for me. |

Clean and low blend on drive effects, nearly all modulation has a blend and the ability to center the effected frequency. Gobs of functionality. I happen to be selling one. |

If I ever got a multi-effect pedal I wouldn't look anywhere else. It's even got some stuff that individual pedals aren't even capable of right now.

Loads of effects and programability, run 15 effects at the same time, parallel effect chains, USB interface.
Check out the free GT-10B patch editor software for a graphical "look" at what it can do. Fx Floor Board

| | I promised myself I would stop buying pedals | | Join Date: Feb 2000 Location: Perth, Australia | | | The BP-8 has awesome dirt tones (it has a tube in it). When I bought mine new, I also looked at the Boss, which I think was a GT-6B. It had lots of features, but the distortions were digital and sounded terrible.
How's the dirt in the GT-10B?

It does however suffer a serious design issue only having one effect module with most of the coolness limited to 1 at a time. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
