So, the point is - i need some good tremolo, with high intensity. By far, best what i have seen is EHX Wiggler, but its pretty expensive, and also, there is much cheaper pedal Worm, which also has wah, phaser and vibrato...But, i dont remember what was tremolo like, when i tryed it in shop, and now its already gone, so no chance to try All i remmeber is that i liked the phaser and wah was interesting.
So, what i am asking from you, my dear 4, 5 or 6 string mates, do anyone of you have the Worm, and can describe the tremolo, or even record some samples of it. As i said, i need very high intensity tremolo, so the sound is close to delay of single 16-th or 32-rd note. Something like dd-7 slicer effect, also available on gt-8...
Also, if the Worm doesnt have that option, a recomendation for anything form my needs, that is cheaper than Wiggler (i know that this pedal can do what i need).
Thanks for help!
P.s. Sorry if any grammar mistakes. |

My favorite under $150 so far has been the Guyatone VTX - that thing has a killer trem sound. It's very strong - enough that it'll chop up silence.
That's actually what bugged me about it (the silence thing), but at least it isn't plagued with the volume drop that many tremolo pedals exhibit. On the contrary, it boosts your signal a bit.

My max budget is about 160$/80-90eur. See, i live in country where electronics mostly cost twice more than, for example, in USA. And also, choice is very small, because in shops there are only coolest brands like Boss, EHX and MXR, and nearly everything else is rarity...
I was also looking at pulsar, Boss tr2, Rocktron one and also T.C. Electronics vintage trem...and one i like the best, EHX Wiggler. But its expensive... |

Huge oxcillator range, variable wave shape, etc. Haven't tried the Stereo Pulsar, but I can't imagine it's much different sound wise (aside from what you could do with a two-amp setup). |

I was actually quite satisfied (surprisingly) with the vibrato effect on my GT-6B when playing with a pick...would it be similar/worse/better with a bass? | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
