Is the super delay even available yet?

The Echolution is probably the best delay on the market. It's definitely the best delay I've ever tried. I was all set to save my pennies for one when I saw that the Super Delay was finally going to be released. As soon as I can get my hands on one I'll try it too and report back.

I'm more excited for this delay than any of the stuff in the NAMM thread. If it's as good a delay as their tremolo is, it will be a tough decision to make.

Nope. I've bothered Steve a bunch about it, but the release date keeps getting pushed back. Now if finally looks like it will hit stores soon.

I'm sure they've decided on a price point by now, but a couple months back when I asked he said somewhere between $350 and $450 CAD.

I guess now its between that, The Echolution and the TimeFactor now...

That new Memory Lane isnt helping either.

What is really intriguing to me about the Empress are the seemingly immense number of options and even more importantly, the fact that you can save 8 different settings as presets. For someone that uses delay a lot, that is a very cool feature.

But the bottom line is that regardless of features, it has to sound good. Because I know how good the Echolution sounds.

The Empress looks nicer IMO. Cosmetics count sometimes!

This probably doesn't help but the Empress looks like it'd be amazing.

Quick question on the Empress, is the expression pedal able to controll the delay times?

That's what I was hoping for, but as it is right now the expression pedal can be set to control either the mix or feedback.

If it's also able to controll the delay times when it's ready to hit the market I'm 100% sold on it.

Are there any delay pedals that have an expression pedal to control the delay time?? ... I could search, but I'm feeling lazy today.

Too lazy to scroll up?
The Echolution has an input for an expression pedal to control delay time. I believe TBer Ron Now also had his modded for an expression input for feedback.

I was hoping for the same from the Super Delay. Being able to control the mix via expression pedal is cool, and would allow for manual ducking of the echoes, but I'd rather be able to shift delay time. It might be less traditionally useful, but would lead to some crazy sounds.

Alright I see it now. There are too many colors and swirls going on on that pedal. I was mesmerized.

Didn't see the on the side before, now that I do the echolution is extremely tempting. It dissappoints me though because the Empress looks extremely promising.

If I was going to get a "big" multi channel delay I'd get an Echoczar or a Timefactor.

The Timefactor is stupendously good.
