deeeep vibrato?

What can get me a deep vibrato sound that will work well on bass? By deep I mean getting ugly in the pitch range rather than subtle vibe.

Alternatively are there vibes available with band-pass features and/or blends?

I would recommend the Mid-Fi Electronics Pitch Pirate. I believe it can do vibrato up to an octave up and down. That's the craziest one I know of.

I really like Boss VB-2. It delivers quite trippy pitch vibrato IMO. VB-2 is rare and expensive but this is exactly the same thing in a cheap plastic housing: http://www.behringer.com/EN/Products/UV300.aspx.
Also Line6 has done nice job modelling VB-2.

If you decide you want to go with the VB-2, you could also get the BBE Mind Bender. The vibrato half of that pedal is a clone of the VB-2.

But if the VB-2 doesn't bend enough for you, then I again recommend the Pitch Pirate.
