Delay with Fwd, Rev and tone control PLUS Exp control of feedback/delay count?

Sign in to disble this ad
I use to be able to do this on my POD and it's the ONLY thing I miss about it really. The only thing EXP controllable on the Zoom B2s delays is the wet/dry mix.

Don't care if its digital, but it would be nice to have a tone control to have the option of darkening the delays a bit.

Line 6 DL4 will do this, the Echopark won't
Eventide Time Factor also will but that's probably out of your price range.

Also, the Empress Superdelay will do all of this, and in a smaller enclosure than either the DL4 or the Eventide unit. Fantastic pedal

o.O the Empress looks awesome (and made in canada ) Anyone know what the small switch by the middle footswitch does?

Looked up the DL4 and the Exp on the L6 modellers just blends between 2 settings so I don't really know about that working as I want it.

Well if you wanted to replace more than just your delay the Line 6 M13 also does all this plus loads of other fx.

doesn't the RC-20 do reverse. I know it isn't a delay, but maybe worth a look.

It's the save button for presets.

The Empress was far beyond my meager delay needs, but it is an incredible pedal.

You hold down that little plastic switch when you are storing a preset.

EDIT: Curses, beaten by BigO! I loved the Empress. The only reason I got rid of it was that I found that I needed a delay with a digital readout of the delay time in ms and bpm. I ended up with a DD-20. The Nova Delay looks intriguing, but I don't want another wall wart. The DD-20 will work off a daisy chain.

Not looking to go back into massive multi effects territory

M13 doesn't that lets you turn any knob what ever amount you set it to by expression, not that it matter because it's not the route you want to go down, just wanted to make sure it was clear
