Hi there

Could someone please recommend a good and reasonably priced delay pedal.

Any other hints n tips on delay pedals would be great.

Cheers

What would you consider "reasonably priced"?

Ibanez DE7 for a nice, cheap delay. The echo mode is great, it can self-oscillate like crazy if you want it to. It has up to 3 seconds of delay or something like that.
A couple others I've heard mentioned are the Boss DD3/DD6, Guyatone MD3, and the Digitech DigiDelay.

the echohead sounds good, will look into it.

I guess in terms of reasonably priced, I'd be looking at appx GBP£100-£125.

Another cool one is the MXR Carbon Copy.

You need some momentary footswitch to have a tap tempo functionality with Echohead. I use Boss FS-5U and it works great.

The Electro Harmonix #1 Echo is a very good delay for it's price. It doesn't have tap tempo, but the repeats sound very good. I have no problems with mine. It also has up to 2 seconds of delay.

Of course, I wouldn't mind a nice Subdecay Echobox, but I'll wait for the lottery

I love my Ehx Stereo Memoryman w/ Hazrai. Lottsa different modes, and though it's digital, you can get some great anolog type delays as well. Also does 30 sec. worth of looping, and that's cool. Sort of full function and sounds way very good.

Dude- that'll be me!
Lovin' it, esp with the tap tempo switch added!

Very tempted with the carbon copy too, but then again i seem to be becoming an MXR whore!
